Sad day. Parts delay. No car for me.

When trying to avoid issues with the old car by buying a new one, especially a used car, you always run a risk of trading one set of problems for another. I think it's known as "jumping from the pan into the fire". Hopefully you can get your car fixed, re-CPO'ed, and any omissions fixed. I wonder if what the dealer who sold you the car did constitutes fraud (selling car as CPO inspected, but never performing said inspection, or worse, ignoring bad brakes to avoid paying for the repair for CPO).I know it's just a few more days at this point but man...I've been struggling since 10/20, and buying the new car was supposed to put a stop to all of this and put my vehicular life back in my control.
You’re not wrong. With only 115 on the clock I assumed the car was pretty darn close to brand new. When trying to avoid issues with the old car by buying a new one, especially a used car, you always run a risk of trading one set of problems for another. I expect I would have had a pretty good case if they pushed back on the repair. My feeling here is that this was just an accidental miss, probably the PEC’s fault. Everyone else assumed the 60k+ PSCBs were fine at 115 (including me.)I wonder if what the dealer who sold you the car did constitutes fraud (selling car as CPO inspected, but never performing said inspection, or worse, ignoring bad brakes to avoid paying for the repair for CPO).
Yeah, the pads and rotors were cracked and cooked. I expect part of the pad was dangling and dragging what is left of the rotor.Do you know what the cause of the early noise issues with the PSCB brakes?
You'd think the selling dealer would give you a better loaner. You are in California, which has some strong lemon laws and other consumer protections, perhaps should have threatened a return of the car?Still no car. AFAIK still waiting on the lousy brake sensors.
I've been driving loaner Macans for over 2 months.
I bought a new car at great personal expense to escape this, and I'm still in it.
Pretty damn crabby.
The selling dealer is 390 miles from me. I don’t have a beef with them as they made sure I was made whole on the brakes. You'd think the selling dealer would give you a better loaner. Surprised that none of the dealers have offered to take the sensors off one of the cars in stock and fit in your car!Still no car. AFAIK still waiting on the lousy brake sensors.

Perhaps the "making you whole on the brakes" could have included money for a better loaner (I'm sure there are people renting Taycans in California, if the Redwood City doesn't have any they could bill to the selling dealer). It is the selling dealer's fault for screwing up CPO inspection, which resulted in you being in this situation. You gave them Taycan GTS money but are driving a Macan. The selling dealer is 390 miles from me. I don’t have a beef with them as they made sure I was made whole on the brakes.
I don’t have a beef with Redwood Ciry either, they identified my problem and have been honest and transparent.
I’m just so damn ready for this nightmare to be over.
End of year Christmas season, Europe is on vacation, plenty of people take time off in US too, so everything slows to a crawl. I had my Taycan waiting for an OBC last Christmas, didn't get them in past New Year when everyone came back to work.Surprised that none of the dealers have offered to take the sensors off one of the cars in stock and fit in your car!
Can’t believe that a brand like Porsche can not get a pair of brake sensors delivered in 24 to 48 hours. Really lousy customer service
I just got the word. It’s ready this afternoon at last.
Got a nice video showing my now shiny rotors.
Time to go for a long drive to enjoy your new car!
