I've gone from Turbo to a 1.2 GTS in Purple Sky. Collecting 22nd. No Burmester and no massage seats will be an adjustment but £35k ish off brand new. Hard to say no.

It looks like I’m doing it, somewhat involuntarily myself.

I got my 2026 GTS ST two weeks ago and it is indeed amazing, even on slushy, snowy, icy roads. I feel the suspension tuning is different to J1.2 4S that I have driven maybe 4 time before ordering this, but I'm of course not 100% sure if it really is. Planning to upgrade with EvMap tune in spring 26 as soon as winter is over.

Brave souls. I can't stomach this car/EVs potential huge repair bill due not to parts fault, etc. I might end up picking up a Lexus or something when the time comes. Hopefully at my warranty end, etc. Oh well. I paid it off anyway. Nah... wont say the worst case scenario, touch wood.

At least I've got six years warranty with my CPO.

you probably never heard of the Ioniq 5 guys who are getting repair bills in the tens of thousands of dollars. Not warranty repair and insurance wont cover it. I am very afraid if same thing happen to me.

I recall that story. It’s similar to the guy on this forum with the 3mm dent. Two individuals with uncommon stories. We shouldn’t exaggerate such stories.

This all seems like FUD to me. This story says insurance did in fact cover the repair (yes, I know initially not, but it sounds like the person really didn’t even have to fight it, and that kind of insurance shenanigans seems pretty normal).

when you say 35039k off a J1.2 GTS is this a factory order? Or is it a discount on a car in the dealer ready to go.

Factory oder you should get 8-10%.

Pre-configured a lot more, since you can't choose anything.
For me e.g. a GTS and a 4 were identical (only options difference), since I was going to tune the car anyway - hence buying new was better.

Btw the lead time was only 3 months. I ordered early September and end of December the car was built.
