I have only had my 2025 Turbo for about 6 weeks, but I thought I would post some preliminary range data:
  • The car is currently estimating that it can go 165 miles on 48% charge. That equates to 344 miles on a full charge
  • During my first 100 miles, the state of charge went down 25%. That equates to 400 miles on a full charge
  • During the past two days we drove 130 miles, and the state of charge only went down 25%. That works out to a whopping 520 miles on a full charge
The car has 20" wheels and all season tires. The weather has been just about perfect for getting good mileage (75-85 degrees), but otherwise we haven't done anything to maximize range. Driving has been a mix of highway and city driving.

The data is very early so I wouldn't hang my hat on it, but it is clear that the range on this car is very different than the first gen cars.

I've seen a 30-35% improvement in range, so Porsche's marketing numbers hold up. I cannot get near 400 (4mi/kW) never mind 500 miles (5mi/kW) unless driving down a very long hill. I do now regularly see over 3+ mi/kW, in my old 4S CT I only saw that once in 3 years and 54k miles.

Good to hear that Porsche Taycan range has improved for MY25. But I would be more interested to hear some longer term consumption figures in mi/kWh or kWh/100 km. Hopefully we would see an Improved consumption figure by the same percentage reported.

The GOM is not a good indicator of efficiency which has been discussed a lot. Consumption between different charges etc would be better. There has also been a question mark over the consumption figure for the Total distance traveled by the car.

This is the range data improvement presented at launch (slide 1), which uses WLTP that seems to be a bit optimistic vs. AMCI testing that was done to show that EPA numbers are totally bogus (slide 2). My range aligns with AMCI for a gen 1 Turbo which is 275 miles in mixed driving conditions, which probably means that 300 miles is a possibility under ideal conditions. For gen 2, Porsche site only lists EPA number and for the Turbo it is 292 miles, which is again way below a realistically achievable numbers reported by the youtubers.

Here is data from my wife’s MY2022 GTS sedan. Took delivery June 2022. Only two 300+ mile highway trips. Primarily city driving as you can see from the average speed.

I think sometimes the total number is wrong. I wish I could get the raw data. It claims mine is 4.9…

I am about 1,500 miles in and am using 26.9 kW / 100 miles so far with my 2025 Turbo. Based on my math, that is about 360 miles on a full charge.

These numbers do always seem highly tire and wheel dependent.

The app is wrong. By quite a bit. My lifetime stats on a GTS. Typical trip is 3.0 to 3.1 miles per kWh. 3.5 is fantasy land. And it’s missing miles. I’m at 14,000. German math?

I'm 600 miles into a 2025 Turbo, and am seeing much lower range numbers. Almost all of the driving has been on ACC at ~70 MPH with very mild acceleration and I have been averaging around 275 miles of range. Interesting enough when calculating range from the charge state I could get 330-350 miles, (in the picture I got 80 miles on a 23% charge - the drive started at 90% charge level). But this has never been actualized in the car's range meter.

Fitted the Hankook IONs on my 20" wheels in May this year to my '22 4S CT after 18 months of Pirelli Summer and Winter tyres and the change has been dramatic.

Before this switch 3.0 was dreamland for me too, now it's an almost daily occurrence. I've had 3.7 on a 40 mile drive with a chunk of M25 and most 100+ mile motorway trips are 3.2 now.

Curious how the ride and road noise has been with the Hankook IONs. I have been thinking of fitting them on out MY2022 GTS in place of the OEM Pirellis.

The first few hundred miles are without regen to allow the brakes to bed in, you may need to get more miles under the belt for a better range indication. Being in raised chassis mode and normal drive mode are not the best settings to optimise range.
