- 2023 Taycan TCT, 2024 Q8 eTron P+
Honestly, I believe customers need to vote with their wallets. There is no truer democracy. I like my Taycan, but somewhat troubled with the amount of time it spends in service. So far my dealer (who didn't even sell me my Taycan because Porsche rationed allocations to make their exclusivity work) is taking care of the recalls and issues very well. That said, when it comes to swapping it out, which will likely involve buying 2 cars (his and hers, I like to keep our cars in the garage from the same manufacturer for easier self-maintenance), so far I'm thinking two Cayenne EV's, but will re-evaluate when it comes time to buy and will judge Porsche based on their then current offering and past history. The treatment in germany seems to differ widely. Some people are getting denied the campaign.

While others are getting letters about it, as if it's a recall:

Truly, consistent premium german car experiencethat comes after 9-10 months of the navigation being broken.
If it were a chinese brand doing this, it will be the end of the chinese auto industry, but since it's Porsache treating EV customers like used condoms, with 0 regards for their experience, then it's ok.
The fact that EU mandates phone makers to gurantee 5 years of software updates, but cars that have software that breaks and risks accidents have no such regulations/mandates is still baffling.
