front hood unlatching

I don't know how it's happening, but about 6 or 7 times, whether I'm getting out of the car or getting it, I get a warning that my front hood is unlatched. I don't think I pushed any button to make that happen. Any thoughts??

I've had this happen a couple times, and I'm 90% sure it's because the frunk button on the keyfob gets pressed accidentally when in my pants pocket. Is that where you carry your fob?

Happens to me if the steering wheel contacts the key in my pocket. Super frustrating when it does.

hmmmm, I wonder if that's my problem. It would be very easy for my pocket to hit the steering wheel when entering/exiting the car.

Yes has also happened to me. The frunk key is too low and easy to press. I bought the leather key pouch... Seems to have helped but bloody expensive lol

This is just “user error”. It’s never happened to me and is not a fault….

Probably happens to everyone. Especially if the pants are too tight.

Sometimes it's the rear trunk but at least that one I can address from the center console.

I never had the trunk pop open unexpectedly but because of the position on the FOB the frunk is prone to be opened while the FOB is in your pocket.
