Just picked up my GTS sports turismo and the range is way lower than what I'd expect. On 100% I'm getting 233miles. Is it meant to improve with charging cycles?

Yes. The manual notes that it consumes more energy for the first 1500 or 1800 miles, something like that. Part of that is things wearing in, part of it is braking using less regen.

You should not daily-charge to 100% if you can help it, it will add wear to the battery.

My GTS is around 232miles at 85%, every day. And I drive hard!

Sounds about right ! My 4SCT on 21 in is typically no more than 250.

I charged my 2023 GTS to 100% on my wife's Audi Etron home charger and it charged to 300 miles. This has happened several times.

The range of my GTS seems to have dropped a little over the last month for some strange reason.
Used to get around 270 fully charged, but the last few weeks it has been 240 - 250.
No idea why, my driving hasn't changed, and the temp hasn't changed that much.

Congratulations on an amazing car! Personally I dont think much about the range. The car is a joy to drive every day and I only charge it when I really need to. For long distance driving I normally drive one of my other cars. The GTS is driving experience before range.

Range is bang on. Will rise after some more miles but don't expect 300 - 250ish is more likely. Come the winter 225.

More important is the consumption - monitor that.

A brand new Taycan will not regen, at all, for the first approx 1000 km. The consumption will be terrible for obvious reasons. Once it's done with the initial run in and start regen braking it will improve massively.

It won't.

I have a GTS 3.6k miles 5 months old now - 203 miles reported range at 85%

I had a 4S PB+ from new for 2.6 years and it was the same.

Recup kicks in around 650 miles.

Reported range is largely irrelevant when at a standstill. Consumption is the key measure.

My 4S achieved 3.3 miles / kWh over 22000 miles. My GTS only 2.8 so far.
