GTS Ride Quality with or without Active Ride

Thanks for this - very helpful. Presumably the Max summer tyres have stiffer sidewalls?

THE 21” RS Spyder alloys look great, so I wonder if using Summer (non-Max) tyres would be a good compromise beetween handling and low-speed ride comfort (as I think @prj has alluded to).

My car came with what it came with so I don't have much to compare to and I don't know the difference; there isn't much information on them out there yet.

I'll likely change them to regular P Zeros when the time comes (or perhaps an all season... I have options due to the weather in the S.F. Bay Area).

Ah, they actually might do, I think I thought about the Trofeo RS.
But then something has got to give to have better performance than the regular P Zero, e.g. softer compound so wears faster. There's no free lunch.

That's probably true... but they do list the same tread life of 280 (at least with the latest gen of the regular P Zero). The Rs aren't that much more expensive either (they seem to be normalizing over time).

Individually the elements are:

RWS: $1,410
Tires: $660

$10.00 cheaper to go with the package... what a deal.

The tread ware changed from 220 to 280 so I guess you might get 500 more miles on the NF1

Yeah higher potential to bubbles in the side, I had 2 so far so I replaced to nf0 (Goodyear asymmetric 5)
I also have pzero nf1 and they feel harsher and noisier

I was concerned that the GTS-ride would be too stiff. I have now 6k km on my J1.2 GTS ST odo (20 inch wheels) w/ PAR and LOOOOVVVVEEE the ride: So smooth, still so agile in cornering. Totally amazing. Great invest!!
