It is much more complex then you think. For example the entire cabling for the Taycan is/was produced in Ukraine, because of the war, production capacity was slammed and needed to be built up again. Finding a new supplier with capacity which has to setup the tooling for production with specific quality requirements is a challenge.Ha, yes I totally get that. The assembly line doesn't seem to be Porsche's problem. It's other logistics and use of non-differentiating components that aren't working. Those issues should be even EASIER to solve because it's not mass produced.
Tesla faces the same issues, certain customers which made a$50k reservation payment are still waiting for their Tesla Roadster.
it is not as easy as one would think or hope.
