Hy Everyone, I was looking for a possibility to lower the Taycan CT4s. Searching on the internet I found a lot of lowering links, but I didn't want to have it all the time lower. So I just found the OBD-App, which allows you to lower the Taycan from the phone app, so I just ordered it!
For me it seems to be the easiest solution so far, to keep the warranty, cuz you can put it back to norma ride hight when you want it.

I'll keep you informed as soon as I get the dongle.

Keep it up!

Can you explain how that works ? Or point to some reference?

I have an OBD dongle and the Car Scanner app and would like to try this out.

Thanks for the video.

Can Porsche see in logs that you applied this?
Is it gonna void warranty?

How does it synchronize with the ride height settings Controlled via PCM?
is it going to apply an overall offset?

Example: if you lower the ride height by 10mm, will this be applied to all height settings or only to “very low”?
I would like to keep “high” as high as possible to clear obstacles. Only “Very low” I want to adjust.

i think it’s overall 10mm lower. After installing it I’ll let you know.

Very curious to see how this works on your car. Please post updates and videos if possible here!

Appears identical to the CETE lowering modules in respect function - difference clearly that it’s entirely software driven via the cars own computer.

The CETE system uses independent Bluetooth sensors (attached discretely under car) to intercept the cars signals to then control ride heights - in this way it is 100% ‘invisible’ in respect any record by the PCM logging.

I’d assume this tool by working solely via OBD to interact directly with the PCM is thus different and any actions would be recorded/logged and probably retrievable by a tech unless reset/wiped (maybe a soft system reboot could do this but no idea?).

Do like the software only approach (there are other tools that do this too like VCDS) and interested to see how you get on with it. Also curious if the OBD tool needs to be permanently plugged in or is it a one time setup adjustment.

BTW there is a whole separate thread on this from ca. Sep 2022 - need to reread this:

@sandro73 do you have any updates? i also plan to order this obdapp solution. for germany here we also get this with tüv so seems pretty smart solution without changing rods or something else.

if you can send us pictures as well would be great! thanks

A bit strange that the OP has gone silent for weeks after receiving a plug and play module….
