I'm on Android and no new app in UK / Europe.

No new app either on my iPad.
Got my new CT 4S a week ago and fixed the apps (Android) at the dealership. Both are running well so far. According to the sales rep, there is a major overhauld My Porsche with additional features coming in March if not mistaken.

the My porsche app works for me without any problems and faster than the connect app.

Yes me too but it does report some oddities so not sure I will rely on it (failed charging when it isn't). The web page version is better - much more detail and more reliable. To be honest I never saw the My Porsche phone app until yesterday and I've been using Porsche Connect and My Porsche web site for the past 12 months without drama.

The timer function fails and there is no display of profiles or the ability to show all the connect services I have - perhaps I've not clicked everything obvious. On the web site you just click the car and it reveals everything down to the spec of your car.

I'll play some more but I don't see any advantage in using it over the Porsche Connect phone app plus it appears to be a) functionally deficient compared to Porsche Connect, and b) key features are 'broken'.

Not sure that it connects any quicker (to the car) - the impression is that it does but I'm not yet convinced.

Heard the same. It will come out with the new icon style screen.

Hmmm - I also somewhat warily changed to the new Connect app bef actually receiving my car - car is in PDI at dealership so will be interesting if we try to connect at there this week as to how it handles this! Hoping that any PDI check might also ensure absolutely latest of everything related re comms but who knows.

PS: @Reg I got an update reminder in iOS to DL and install the new version which I did.

I cannot of course access car with this vers. yet but if I run it in Demo mode and check it's version here is what it shows - not sure if this is accurate being a Demo example i.e. perhaps @Silveral can share his version screen to be sure.

Both app, My Porsche and Connect works no issues - they don't do much but they work.
Remote parking impressed the kid, and fairly useful in my tight garage!

Interesting - your garage and remote parking - can you share pictures / video of the remote parking and the width of your garage?

I don’t know why Porsche have both of these available? I didn’t know about the Connect version until Income across it.
I find the connect version much better:

- connect tells me speed of charge
-I can plan routes in Connect
- connect has iPhones widgets

Things I wish they did:
- tell me voltage if the charger lead
- tell me the temperature inside the car
- let me change the seat heating to full

I just downloaded the new MyPorsche app (previously had the MyPorscheEssentials and Porsche Connect apps).

The download for the new MyPorsche app was almost instant and my first login was seamless. The app connected to both cars in my garage and was able to immediately connect to the PCM and report vehicle location for me. (that was the first test)

The app does not appear to have a connection or widget or whatever to Porsche Financial services, which is no big deal as we typically pay from our desktop anyways.

I’m still a little leery about installing this new app. Some of the stuff on Porsche Connect works and I don’t want to end-up with even less functionality! ?

You can always use My Porsche web site (rather than the App) from your phone. The web version offers the same feature set as the full fat web desktop - so always 'mobile'.

Feels to me that the 'new' My Porsche App is still work in progress.

I haven't been able to connect or refresh the information on either app or the website in over a week. I waited on hold for 30 minutes twice yesterday, first time I was disconnected during the transfer and then on the second call I was told to send screenshots of what I'm seeing. The customer service rep seemed to have zero idea how to fix the issue. It's a total cluster.

The connect app and My Porsche (website) worked great for me until a week ago.

Fortunately the car still drives and I can still charge it and that is what is important. Just frustrating that I spent this much on a car and some of the tech isn't available.
