Considering purchasing a very lightly used 2022 Taycan 4s. 3,870 miles, sticker at $76k USD firm. Would probably purchase extended bumper to bumper 5year/75k mile warranty other than the battery ( +$2500, non-CPO) as well as the included standard Porsche 8year 100kmi battery warranty (5 years left). I assume this was a very light driver for an otherwise retired person; it feels and smells like a brand new car. Like, the leather conditioner is still fresh. Clean carfax, single owner, no accidents. I love the exterior and interior color.
I've scouted opinions elsewhere and feel pretty good but figured I would ask the enthusiasts here. Seem like a good deal? Has all options I would want other than the thermal/audio insulation windows and ACC - I don't do much highway driving but my 2019 forester has ACC, kinda disappointing such an expensive car doesn't to be honest. Performance plus battery, vented seats, PSCB breaks (interesting choice, whoever specced it!) I drive about 30 miles a day on average and maybe a 2-300 mile road trip every month or two. This car may convince me to drive a bit more often and find some windy roads, though.
I have L2 charging at home already, wife has a longer range EV that can haul more when needed, etc. This is purely a pleasure purchase at the top end of my budget. Should I wait for the 2026 releases and see what used 2023s hit the lots?
