I'm all for OTA updates... but as a software engineer, I've had a few good laughs at the experience so far. I've gotten several dings and info messages that say I have notifications... yet seemingly no notifications. I've gotten several map updates that made me feel the PCM became unstable (phantom error messages that went away after power off/on). I've gotten subsequent map updates that seemed to return PCM stability (no phantom errors in several weeks... phew!). I just got my calendar update (yes! /s). I'm looking forward to what this next OTA update brings... and as long as it doesn't brick my car or require me to bring the car in for service, keep'em coming!
I love those troll messages that say I have a new message/notification :D It’s not a bug, it’s a feature

Not yet. Came up with a screw in the tire so it's in the shop for a replacement. I'll check when I get it back.

So has anyone gotten their September update yet?
I think so? I received the email on August 31st that it was coming (I'm new to the Porsche world), saw the notification on the PCM, and clicked it to start the install. That said, the only thing that seemed to change was being able to log into my account via QR code... which was completely pointless since I was already logged in ?‍♂. No update notifications have popped up since then.

I got the QR update months ago and it installed without shutting down the car IIRC. Interesting that you only got it in this update.

Well darn, guess I'll be on the lookout for the update still then. I thought it was a little too pickles given the cold pizza thread a few weeks ago ?

I'm really confused. I got the email and tried sitting in the car and stuff as it instructed but it says my car is up to date. But now Apple Maps EV Routing doesn't work and says my PCM version isn't compatible. And it's saying the windows are still open again when there aren't..

Is there a way to see what the current version of the software I'm supposed to have is?

Not sure about what we're supposed to have. But to find the version you currently have,
-- Tap the
Settings icon (with the gear) on the PCM screen.
-- Then tap
System.
-- Then tap
Software information.
-- Then tap
Version information.

There are seven lines of information. Here's what mine looks like this evening. Hope this helps.

Yeah I actually took a pic of the same screen this morning while sitting in the car trying to figure it out. My numbers are waaaay different than all that.

The numbers sure are different except for the Navigation package. Yours are more recent than mine, but I don't know what difference it makes. Like others have already posted, I received an email on August 31, 2023 about an upcoming over-the-air update. But I haven't seen it hit up my 2022 RWD yet.

Ok, thanks :). That email is written with such immediacy with all the steps and video and all that, and I know I can miss certain discussions on the forum. I'll just chill til my car yells at me about something, because God knows it loves to do that ? .

My #s are the same as yours except for:
  • Different hardware version, which makes sense since we have different models (mine is 2022 4CT).
  • Different nav package, which makes sense since I recall seeing an update notification while I was driving (mine is now 2023.09 preceded by different numbers).
However, no big deal that we have not yet received the latest OTA, since its major advantage of access to those ~12,000 Tesla V3 250kW Superchargers won't be of any use until the NACS-R<>CCS1-P adapters are available.

So that's what it's for - thanks! And I agree with your patience but I hope adapters are plentiful by next May when I'm driving to Los Angeles to judge at the International Science and Engineering Fair and I'll need more Level 3 charging choices along the way than Electrify America.

Good to know. That 8/31 email just confused the hell out of me, even after I saw others get it earlier and "debunk" it. But how come Apple Maps EV doesn't work now? Is that same for everyone and I missed a thread?
