1.5 years of data with every AC charge plotting max 'guessometer' ranges for Normal and Range modes with AC off after each charge to 85% and calculating to 100%. Car's parameters listed below.

I need to update the chart i.e. timescale slid slightly with last entries but picture fairly obvious. Good example re how your 'stye of driving' (can explain what I mean by this if needed) can massively impact the Guessometer's prediction included :)

These data have been reported in numerous threads over the last year+ and maintained/updated regularly in this thread:

https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/baseline-for-hv-battery-soh-performance.12815/

Some additional outputs and graphs etc here although these charts have not been updated here since last posted:

@RTH
I would REALY like to get a SoH reading from your car - it would be the clear 'leader' for total miles driven in the chart in the first link above, so of immense interest, and to be frank, a much more interesting data point than the somewhat erratic guessometer estimates discussed here.

Do you by chance have a compatible OBDII reader - takes seconds to read out with the free CarScanner app.

Example of a compatible scanner:

Holy cow! That’s a lot of info that I will dive into… starting with what all the abbreviations mean - LOL! But, really appreciated!

Highway speeds routinely 70-85 for 20 miles of the commute and stop/go 35-50 for 10 miles (60 mile daily commute round trip). I was expecting better range, too
Do you have 21” wheels? If so this range sounds spot on for your usage pattern. Why are you expecting more than 240-250 miles at 100% charge?

Yes, 21” wheels. Glad that sounds spot on. Dealer (?) was quoting differently… ‘275 real world’

One other thing to consider is the AC temperature. My wife normally keeps it at 74F and AC on Eco. If you run your much cooler, then it'd definitely reduce your range.

BTW, my dealer just told me that on average, Taycan loses 10% of the SOH in the first year of average annual driven mileage (12000 miles?). Unfortunately, we don't know if the initial SOH of the 93.4Wh battery was indeed 3.7 as Porsche reports. (There are discussion that it is actually more.) So we can never really know what the %loss of the SOH is after i.e. @12000 miles. What are your experiences by estimation?

Yes - use it with the free CarScanner app - when you plug in and link to the app you can find the Taycan specific profile preloaded and good to go.

Scroll down the first page of this link and you'll see industry report links (obv dominated by Tesla) of this initial decline of 10% in first year+ as 100% typical. Also if you look at my SoH chart this obviously also depends on climate zone with the hottest regions experiencing more SoH degradation. There are of course multiple other factors but excessive climate heat a Major factor.

Regardless of the SoH at delivery we can measure (not calculate) the current SoH and its decline over at least 3 years of ownership to date on many cars - this is what is being plotted in the chart with contributions from about 47 cars to date, again, some with multiple readings spread over a year +. The data envelope for the Forum cars is just entering a timeline where we should begin to see the rate of degradation flatten out as again has been shown for other manufacturer's cars over 10 year cycles. We have over 72 readings from the 47 cars that have between 0-30,000 miles on their odometers and a couple of cars out to 60K+ miles. So as to today, the SoH values are within industry reported values and of course Porsche's own internal data i.e. there is a reason they are confident on the SoH not going below 80% in 8 years :)!

@14K miles it showed 253 mi range when I charged it overnight for a trip to LA from SD. Enough to comfortably go up and back without recharge.

I almost always charge at home and only to 85%.

BUT I am wondering, would it make any difference if I preheat the battery beforehand? I've never used that feature and my understanding is that you would use it as you are approaching a charging station. Do I have that right?

@4thPcar Is that 253mi at 100%?

It is and seems somewhat consistent with others. However I once saw ranges closer to 290 previously, which made me wonder. Important caveat: this was the original estimate from the car, however it did seem to be pretty close to actual once I completed the round trip and had a range of 40 miles left (its exactly 100 miles from my home to LA).

Would appreciate an answer to my original question regarding the preheat feature and it if makes any sense to use this when charging at home overnight on a timer (starting at midnight).
