Long story short I live down in the Caribbean with no OPC and after 3 flawless, brilliant years and 20,000 miles my Taycan 4S has finally died. Car is completely dead with the 12V battery showing only 0.7V. When we boost it the car turns on and the PCM is showing full charge and 230 mile range but still electrical system faults. My tech can pull the errors and the HV battery appears to be good. Unfortunately a quick call to my nearest OPC in Florida and they won't sell me a battery due to issues with shipping. I offered to go and get it in person and they won't sell me one. They said other dealer might but they won't. Does anyone have a friendly dealer that will sell me a 12V battery? Surely... surely... I don't have to ship the car to the US just to get the 12V battery replaced? Does anyone know if a new 12v battery needs initializing/linking with the car in anyway?
