And the battery. Classics

One is not a real Taycan owner if they haven’t had problems with either of those (charger, heater or battery)
I must not be a real Taycan owner then for 2.5 years and 34k miles. The heater was replaced due to a recall but it was working fine. Everything else work besides the intermittent difficulty to get the windows to roll back up. It's in the shop now to get the brake hoses replaced but the brakes have been working flawlessly. Honestly, I hope I get the battery recall so I can get a new battery too, but probably won't be that lucky.

I was in your group for almost 2,5 years. Things can change fast in Taycan-life.

What happened to the car that caused you to spend the night on the expressway?
Tire failure - side wall blow out caused by a pot hole. Luckily no rim damage but not drivable.

Don’t worry just give it some time

This is a very sad thread to hear from 2025 owner that they experience these failures and not being taken care of. I am a late first gen buyer with a 2023 who was waiting for problems to settle down with early years before purchase and think there is no excuse for 2025s to be failing like this, however, the data below shows that the reason may be because the charging hardware is totally new and has not been tested at scale.

This is what Porsche spent their resources on for the refresh (pic 1), obviously, not spending enough time testing the charging hardware (pic 2).

They could have dedicated all 16% of the resources they spent on the 'redesign' to the other categories. IMO the 'redesign' adds absolutely no value to the car.

It was a joke :) knock knock knock .. the only problem I had was related to charging port flaps. Otherwise, it is a trouble free

Had the same thing happen, 2 week old new 25, front left blow out, a cyclist I had passed earlier said I’d hit a small piece of metal - it left a fist sized hole in the side wall.

I guess I'm lucky, after ~40K miles only had to go in for one failure, TPMS unreadable due to pinched wiring harness.
The recalls are painless, they drive to me and leave a loaner, then return it afterwards.
Wish the loaner was an EV though, it's a pain to stop for gas.
Understood if one goes through multiple failures aor breakdowns with your particular car that it feels like Porsche isn't doing enough.

The german brands continue to produce cars with mediocre quality, while people keep buying their cars they don't care, it's a shame.

Update: the part has been ordered from Germany and needs 15 working days to arrive.

According to Google Maps, driving the part from from Stuttgart to Dubai would require 63 hours lol. Perhaps Porsche can introduce a Taycan delivery service? They'll have to plan the charging along the route.

Hasn’t every J1 Taycan had to have a heater replacement?

maybe the real qualifier is that you must have a "problem", i.e. the failure? :)
At least here in Finland they have replaced/ are replacing all the heaters. It's also a much faster procedure now, mine was upgraded to new version on the same day as I had the 60k service.
