It’s a test you can do at your dealer.
Please provide some context; how long, how much, what did you learn?

My dealer, who I think is an idiot, told me that testing the battery was a multi-day event and since I'm out of warranty it would be expensive. I'd love to get it done...

My '22 turbo was getting 200 mi @ 80%, then dropped to 190, then 180. So I decided to rebalance the cells for the first time (drove down to 0% and 1 mile remaining), then it went back up to 190. The second rebalance was by accident since I didn't have enough juice to get home, it went down to 0% and a negative 2 or 3 miles remaining (turtle mode). Just charged to 80% today and got 202 miles. I highly recommend you rebalance the cells.
When you get a chance I'd love to hear how you did that (if it's more complicated than driving to 0%) and the source for that process (read it online, in the Porsche owners manual, etc.).

I ask because I asked my dealer about rebalancing after seeing another thread on this and was told the car does that automatically and you cannot rebalance it manually. The dealer has given me bad info several times so I'm interested in your experience.

Follow the instructions on the first page of this thread.

I took this after driving it down to 0% and waited 6.5hrs per instructions on the first rebalance process. As you can see, they're way out of balance. This is when the range dropped to its lowest in 3.5 years.

This is the from the second rebalance 2 months later on 9/6/25. The cells stayed within specs per Kris, the developer of the software.

I pay more attention to these when the SOC is at its lowest because when they high, I think they mask the imbalance.

After charging to 100% and waited 6.5hrs.

@WattTurbo - Super interesting, thank you! I’ll just need to buy a cheap windows PC. I have not had one of those in a long time. :)

My dealer told me there are two kinds of tests : quick and long. The difference is that the quick has a precision range of +/- 5%.
He did the quick.

I have 90 000 km in my 2021 Taycan 4S. Range in the summer in 25C (normal mode, air-condition on) is around 400-420 km, which equals to 250 to 260 miles.

Now the weather got much colder (10C) and we got some rain and range dropped to around 350km (215-220 miles). My brother in law has a 2021 4S as well and we are seeing quite identical numbers. He has driven way less though, only around 40 000 km.

In the winter if its -10C or colder I will be lucky to get 300km, at least on the motorways driving around 100-120 km/h. More like 280.

In general I would say, range has dropped for me around 5% from the first 2 years. I think that is quite acceptable. OP:s numbers seem low to me.

My 2020 Turbo S, in ideal weather, shows about 167 miles on the GOM with 80% charge, which is *much* less than it used to. Anyone seeing similar results?

I have a 2020 4S (from new) with 10,000 miles of mixed driving. I charge at home to 100%. Please see range from overnight charging:

Impressive! Does the range drop as soon as you start driving?

Of course!

Winter range drops to 240-260
I mean as soon as you start driving when you have a 329 mile range showing: does the range fall to something more realistic? Presumably you never actually achieve 329 miles on a charge - ?

it does start to fall immediately….but I have done 311 miles (at or above highway speed limits) on a single charge.

Degradation is also related to how the battery is charged . If you were using DC fast charging most of the time and charging to 90 or 100 percent you likely have more degradation.
According to my dealer, DC doesn;t affect SoH.
He told me about one who made 160k km, charging only on DC,with SoH 86%.
Otoh, i was charging AC only for three years, had 89% at about 50k km.
During last year i was using DC about 4-times every month, SoH still 88% (at 65k km).

Wow. Is that consistent or a one-off? (what is your median number in summer highway driving)

Has anyone else come close to this on on US highway speed driving ? For an AWD, everything I read puts the real world range in highway driving about 100 miles less than that....

If it's real and consistent, that's awesome (and in Lucid territory)
