You say that in jest, but if Porsche allowed car play or android auto apps to precondition the battery like the built in nav does, I think most would be happier than this bug being fixed for the built in nav...
+ 1000000

Yes, I would be way happier.
Even just a button to let us precondition ourselves and let ABRP or any other one to check our % at destination.

My car is at the dealer now. They say they are upgrading the PCM and clearing the cache.
I will report back what is done when they have finished.

I had the same thing done a while ago, it makes no difference.
Bonkers that dealers are wasting everyone's time with updates... I suppose it means they don't need to say out loud they have a fleet of cars out there with pretty key functionality broken...

As expected, they just upgraded to 3885 and said that they cleared the cache.
I drove a bit with a destination Ionity at 250 km and it crashed after 5 min.
U-turn, gave them back the car.

Another thing that they saw is that I'm nearly out of warranty and was not warned so they will first extend the warranty, then do some test and create a ticket.

I asked and they are not sure that if they have to change the PCM, if it's the latest version of J1.2 or if it's the latest for the model J1.1 like it was explained here previously.

I have now started a formal complaint procedure with the importer and am seeking compensation for the past period. The navigation system has been malfunctioning consistently, and I have visited the dealer nine times without a lasting solution.

Due to these issues, options such as the HUD and passenger display are largely unusable, as they depend heavily on the navigation system. Several FODs (including InnoDrive and PIRM) are also not functioning properly.

According to my Porsche Center, these issues are not isolated to my car: they report 20–25 similar cases. I was the first. In three cases the PCM has been replaced, and those customers have not returned with the same complaints.

I’m interested to hear whether others have experienced long-term issues, how compensation was handled by the importer, and how such cases are typically resolved.

For the last three days, it did. But I have had other tentative fixes. Too soon to tell.

Do you know which part number was installed?
And which PCM version do you have now?

I’ll wait until after the formal complaint process to ask. I don’t want to bother them unnecessarily.

You can see in the car settings.

But there are a lot of software combinations that porsche is not handling properly.
4360 is supposed to have the app center, with youtube and everything. Some cars from 2025 have it, some don't.
This is a MY25, with 4360 and app center.

But I have dirven MY25 with 4360 without app center, but with a video app with youtube in it instead.

There's also 4405, which seems to be just bug fixing for 4360.

There's also 4578 which is what shipped with MY26, but compared to the MY25 running 4360 that I have as a replacement, there are 0 software differences.

And all of these software versions are installed on multiple versions of hardware.
Tully a mess.

Ah totally mis-understood. I was thinking part numbers of the PCM unit itself

3885

I believe I have one of the last batches of 2025s and I do not have the app center :(

I suppose this must be techs experimenting. If one were to pay for the PIWIS software/subscription like an independent shop, I wonder if one might have access to those updates :\
