EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues

It took my 8 months for them to admit there was a problem and stop claiming they'd never heard of nav issues before...so that doesn't surprise me. I'm booked in for MOT in mid-June so hoping they'll have figured it out by then

Cambridge who I purchased the car from have confirmed its now showing on their system as of this morning.

The update is available in Switzerland also since Friday, apparently. It’s 1 day in service time, replacement car to be provided.

No mention of any OTA option.

Communication module software will be updated, PCM will be updated. New map version will be installed for June 2026


I wonder if by chance this update will “improve” the communication with the app. For me, at least, it used to be much much better in the past, before they updated the communication module as part of the battery manufacturing defects recalls.

Porsche Rotterdam tomorrow when it goes in for service will "look into the problem I reported and they will install the most recent update.'

I just heared that the PCM update is released per VIN. Thats why it is not available for all (yet).

Now booked in for one day PCM rework and update next Friday.

Recall requires car all day at the dealer.

! I just got off the phone with High Wycombe, soonest they can do is the middle of June(!) (middle of July if I needed a loaner...)

Mine was late June with a loaner. So I went with a taxi instead. So next week. It's not too far away.
