I’ve just ordered a Denza Z9 GT here in Thailand.

1,156 horsepower (850 kW) from a three motor setup (one front, two rear).

0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.7 seconds.

122.5 kWh LFP Blade Battery.

It’s got things that I don’t want or need - like Crab Walk, Hands-free Drift Mode and a 360-degree Compass Turn. I’ll maybe grow to appreciate the rear steering and fridge; certainly the fridge. Also has massage and ventilated seats, front and rear. (All seats can be heated but not needed in Thailand.)

Looks similar to a Taycan/Panamera. It’s longer and wider than a Taycan; even a Panamera. It’s a little taller than both.

Sorry to say it, but the interior of it makes my Taycan look cheap. But the exterior? The Taycan still wins.

I'm disappointed with the available colours: black, dark blue, green and champagne.

My Taycan 4S cost about $250k here. The Denza’s price hasn’t been announced, but expected to be $85k-$91k. That makes it a bargain in my book!

I'm looking forward to how it compares to my 4S. Delivery in “about 2 months”. We’ll see.

As a Porsche Taycan enthusiast on a Taycan forum I really don't care.
I even think it doesn't belong in this section of the forum.
Even if its cheaper, more horsepower, more gadgets, it's no Porsche.
There isn't anything that comes close.
That's why I still love my Taycan.
Buying another performance EV would feel like I'm cheating on my 'wife'...

BUT......., I can be happy for you, don't get me wrong here, I'm not totally ignorant. 😉
I'm sure you'll like it and I'm curious if you think it's better than a Porsche.
Congratulations though! 🤘🏻😎

This is likely to be a circa £110k car in the UK ($150k), so I don't see it having the same success as it will in more competitively priced markets.

This is a pretty big hurdle to overcome as being a new entrant to the market it may well haemorrhage more in depreciation than even a Taycan :D

ETA

If UK prices were comparable im sure they would sell plenty, after all every other car on the road in the UK now appears to be a Jaecco SUV!

Final conclusion about the Denza when tested by a national newspaper in this country.
"The Denza Z9GT is almost as impressive on paper as it is a disappointment in reality. Once again, we're introduced to a car from a Chinese brand that is supreme compared with its European competitors on the spec sheet, but proves frustrating and underwhelming on the road."

Okay, I'll update when I get the car.

I expect it'll be something like 3 months from now.

I have an AWD BYD Seal - Denza is to BYD as Lexus is to Toyota. For what it's worth, I think the Seal is a fantastic car. The vast majority of BYD owners in Thailand seem to agree with me.

I'm not the spokesman of this forum.
I'm just giving you my opinion.
That's not a personal attack.
I'm sorry you feel offended.

This is an interesting and appropriate post - any enthusiast should be interested in what the competition brings!

I'm having a test drive on Sunday, hopefully.

If not Sunday, it will be shortly after.

"Hands-free Drift Mode" - now I have to look up what that means and it's limitations.

Just call it roller coaster mode :)
