1,156 horsepower (850 kW) from a three motor setup (one front, two rear).

0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.7 seconds….

I really don't understand why someone would choose a car that drives "acceptable" over a Taycan.
Besides, it weighs almost 3000kg(!) but still manages to do 0-100km/h in 2,7s.
I call BS (maybe Chinese seconds last longer?).
It also doesn't look very attractive, sporty or desirable.
It looks like a 'cheap' copy of a Taycan Sport Turismo, no thank you.
The compensation in adding more gadgets doesn't make it a good car either.

Also, I'm not a big fan of the Chinese invasion of EVs which forces the German car manufacturers to sack 100.000 people, probably even 140.000.
You're not helping Porsche and yourself by buying a lesser car.
I truly hope you will regret this.

From what the saleman has told me, the car comes fully loaded and there are no extra options offered.
I will know more, presumably, when the Thai price is announced in a couple of weeks.

Its definitely a Taycan competitor, it has a higher capacity LFP battery that should have a longer life, and can charge at 1.5 mw if you reside in China where they have 7,000 of them.
The specs are 10-70% in 5 minutes. 97% in 9 minutes. So no chance to even use a bathroom at a charging stop.
It weighs 6338 lbs, and I would expect that is one of the disadvantages of the large LFP battery.
The tests I saw so far noted that they only had access to the vehicle for a few hours. I think its very interesting to see the actual vehicles getting out, to see where they excel, and see where they fall short. I’m really interested in their UI, ADAS, and software implementation ( capability, speed, reliability) as they are using Lidar, Cameras, and radar. It can be difficult to integrate the sensor suite seemlessly.
The handling, steering, ride, NVH, and connectedness will be interesting to hear about as well.
I think it will be a different mix of attributes that some people may prefer. Competition tends to improve all vehicles, so I see this as a positive.

It doesn’t stop to amaze me how in a very short time chines car makers have managed to game up. BYD Is a 20 years old brand. Very impressive.
They get what people value most. Who doesn’t like a nice and refined interior? It is probably more valuable than a nice xterior. Full optional? Certainly appealing. 1000 HP? What not to like about it. It doesn’t fly through the bends… irrelevant to 99% of porsche owners…
In Europe we struggle to understand the Toyota-Lexus thing and Lexus not really that successful in Europe. BYD-Denza… falls in the same category.
We understand the Skoda-Vw-Audi… and I hope Europe car makers move the game to the next level…because when the economy is not pulled by Germany… Europe collapses…
