On the way home from work today I ran into/over a pothole - the (nearside rear) tyre immediately deflated due to a huge gash in the side. I had to drive a few hundred metres to get off the main road, so I hope the alloy isn’t damaged.
Porsche assist were pretty good and got a recovery truck to me inside 90mins which I thought was pretty good. Fortunately Tonbridge Porsche were very accommodating and we managed to get there before they closed at 6pm.
Just waiting to see if it’s just a new tyre or also a new alloy that is needed. Tyres have done 4,500 miles so I guess there is also the dilemma whether I need to get one tyre or two, to ensure they are evenly worn in the rear.
