PDCC is a must on higher center of gravity ICE cars, mostly on SUVs. On BEVs with very low center of gravity, especially with RWS it is not a good value for money although it is a nice option for advanced level track users.
I had a chance to test it on track and road as well, back to back. On roads up to forced drives no difference (or a very little) on track, experienced drivers can make advantages from it. Although inexperienced drivers are slower usually with it, since it takes a sense of horizontal moves of the car.
Also note that, on GTS torque vectoring is standard, that adds more, not to talk about RWS that is also adding a lot to the driving dynamics.
PDCC would be the last to add, especially low riding BEVs.
Sorry to disagree. PDCC reduces roll which is already low, ok. It adds comfort because it can decouple the anti roll bar from left to right. It changes balance in cornering.
In my view, a must have for handling gourmets ?

Yes, can be. For me a value for money question. For the price of the RWS I would take it for sure.
Real life I can not feel a big diff. For the price especially.
Friday I will have a GTS test car will check it out -again.
Do not know the performance options yet.

For sure.
Will list out the performance options to know the focus. Drove fully loaded Turbo S-s relatively lot, so will be able to compare to that.
I can’t wait to hear the GTS exclusive ‘Sport Sound’ for example…

This is exactly what my dealer said. I agree that it is a "must have". It will also soften the ride for times when you want a limo drive to dinner with friends. Thanks for your feedback.

I spec’d PDCC on my 4S CT to avoid spilling my latte while shaving 9 seconds off of the round trip morning school drop-off for the kids.

Do I have this wrong? ???
Calculate the time you would spend cleaning up the latte spills over the lifespan of your Taycan and i think you will determine that the PDCC Sport is a cost effective option.

Porsche has something it‘s configurator to address all of the challenges that life can throw at you. I am convinced of it. ?

Looking forward to your impressions after driving the GTS
So just have finished the afternoon drive in a ST GTS.

Driving influence options:
- RWS
- ACC+LKA
- Insulated glaas
- Winter wheel set, although temperature was 14 grade celsius.

Could drive city road and highway (up to 200km/h).

Acceleration: slightly faster than 4S, noticeably slower than Turbo. On the other hand the Turbo-equal 850NM torque makes the feel always strong. Differences to Turbo came out most on Launch Control.

Performance:
Suspension is well differentiated in the drive modes, more than other trims. Normal is still comfortable, Sport+ become bumpy, but liked it. The car performed extremely flat either in a high speed bend at 160km/h although have no PDCC option. Significantly sportier roll bars for sure.

Driving aids:
Tested ALK, it is fine to keep the lane between continuous lines and light bends, but as soon as dotted lines or turning lanes arrive it is easily losing control without a notice.
Far from Tesla's basic Autopilot.

Noise:
- Electric Sport Sound sounds deeper and louder on actions, with permanent speed very similar to other trims.
- Wind noise arrived at 160-170km/h from the upper part of the windscreen. Sides were quiet either on higher speeds although the weather was windy. I do not know it is the insulated glass or not, had no chance now to test another one without this option.

Overall it seems a real sweet spot in the range.

More photos in the GTS thread.

Thank you for the update. Kind of make me regret getting ordering my GTS with PDCC. I will see if I can still delete the option prior to the car build date.

Well, PDCC gives immediate intervention of any body movement especially on sportier setups.
Although the car is well planted without it too, if you need the best of the best just take it.
Test drive (without it) could help.
For me standard is good enough, but with very high budget I would take it, honestly.

Thank you for the input.

I don't think it's something I will use. I will ask my sales guy - he's told me in the past that changing specs might delay build slightly so that's the case I won't remove PDCC but if it won't make a difference maybe I will.

PDCC is an expensive option.

I don't know for 992, but in I can see on the screen that it works on daily driving.
Of course, I feel that in every bend... it goes through as being on a railway.
It works even in Range mode.

In short: imo, it worth every € ($, ...)
True worth it, if you like this kind of driving. I prefer to feel the car being active, when taking corners. Have not bought it and would not order it for a new car.
