This looks like the reading from a j1.2 - which has a newer BMS that no app currently reads data off correctly.
So likely you have a newer BMS part in your j1.1
Looks like it yes.
I do know that cell modules of the J1.2 pack are backwards compatible with the J1.1 pack but I did not know that also the BMS of a J1.2 can be used in a J1.1.

May be this is done to cap cell voltages better to a safer level.

update at 106000 km : SoH : 88.65. using only fast chargers or 22kW

in practical terms, it makes no difference on the long usual trips.

update at 43k mi: SoH: 90.4

It was 88.9, did one rebalancing and it went to 90.3.
did a second rebalancing and it 's now at 90.4

Unremarkable. Our 2021 VW ID.3 Pro S (77kwh) has 95% SoH. A few months older, half the mileage.

Yes, mentioned it as used my VLinker/Carscanner right after looking at the Taycan. SoH is calculated using current β€œmaximum energy of the traction battery”.

@SergeyIndy @Leccy61 similar SoH performance is possible with Taycan as well

Mine:
- MY23 received dec 2022
- Current mileage 37k+ km
- SoH 96.647%
That seems hard to believe. Please confirm that you have original battery and post OBD readout showing SoH, Display SoC, and Battery Energy and then I believe you :rock:. Taycan loses 10% SoH in the first 10k miles. If I take your miles and age which are similar to mine, I expect 86% SoH. I follow most battery friendly protocols and live in a normal climate, so I am intrigued to know how you got to manage to be 10% better.

Really? because I have a good SoH I need to be incompetent or a lier ? Just so you know, you don't have to be an engineer to do an OBD reading (even though it happens that I am an engineer)

My apologies if I came across in any way but curious and intrigued by this impressive feat. I would like to know how. The scientist challenge is in post 1. You are definitely the best on that chart with your data. Your data looks sharp with Battery Energy check sums to 86kWh to when new at 100% SoH with Post 1 explaining why this is the number we believe is the right number.


I would like to ask if you can rebalance the cells and repost the readings as this should boost you up at least 1%-2% or may be reset your data reporting to something more realistic that is aligned with the pack.

This is the chart that has not been updated since we lost our one of the best forum members who started this post. You are certainly, the only one with 96.7% SoH at call it 22k miles. My red dot with blue circle. Also, no one even close with 98% of SoH at 16k miles. So yes, to your original point, it is possible, but not for anyone else even close that we know of, and that is why I wrote hard to believe based on the data that we have including my own car and not personal toward you. I apologize and really sorry if I offended you.

update at 109 mkm / 68 kmi after rebalancing: SoH : 90.42
it did not change since 43 k mi (October 2024) where it also was 90.4.

I tried to add it to the original graph (big red dot).
That is not far from the Data point provided by Porsche Factory Marketing at around 62000 mi

These are some exceptional numbers and may be due to taking long trips.
The expected SoH at this age and mileage should be close to 90% SoH level.
Also, please confirm that you have original battery.
Request: Can you share Battery Energy Number and SoC Display % when you do your next read. These values will be in Dashboard views in the CarScanner app. These values are used to check sum the SoH accuracy.
