I have the pano roof and find it's too hot in the summer without an aftermarket screen. Put in the screen back in April and have never removed it. If I could have had a solid roof, I would have taken it.

The Fire Extinguisher is mandatory on some racetracks. The previous owner might have that in mind.

Clearly, option value is in the eye of the beholder. I was looking used so had to be a bit flexible, but FWIW:

MUST HAVES (and I got):
- Premium Package (Bose, Roof, 14 way ventilated seats, Ionizer, surround view, PDLS, LCA)
- Active Cruise Control
- Perf Plus Battery

HIGHLY DESIRABLE (and I got):
- Full leather
- 20" or 21" wheels
- Color other than white
- Interior other than black

WOULD HVE BEEN NICE BUT I COULDN"T GET:
- PCSB
- Sport Chrono

Nor does the aluminium roof…
Aluminum does and will corrode, and glass, over time at high humidity and pH, will also corrode. Corroded glass loses its transparency and its strength is reduced. So probably no roof is the best option here.

I have hated glass roofs in every car I had them in.
There isn’t a problem with airyness unless you fall for the current fashion of privacy glass, which ruins the lines of the car IMO.
You do benefit from a skylight if you insist on keeping the curtains closed ;) but I prefer no skylight and curtains open.

On our car the most popular option has been 14-way ventilated massage seats FWIW.

It's hard to say what to avoid. Maybe I would not take the Sport Sound anymore. I never use it.
Must havs for me:
-PB+
-panoroof
-Sport chrono
-Bose
-leather
-14 way seats (like them way more than the 18:s)

I guess here in Finland heat pump is good, too. But it's hard to compare/ to know if it really helps and how much. RWS might be nice to option if I buy again but the Taycan drives so great and natural without anyway so would it be better? I didn't notice that much on a difference when test-driving a Turbo with it.

Options I dont want/ care about/ not willing to pay anything:
-electrical sport sound
-electrical charging port
-Night Vision
-Innodrive
-adaptive cruise control
-HUD
-4+1 seats
-ventilated seats
-passanger screen
-all the extra LED-stuff
-all the small extras indoor

Glas roof is not a problem, we have 15 of them in the car park.
Innodrive is useless and creates problems.
Air suspension is a must have. 360° camera is useless.

Wouldn't say there's anything that specifically creates problems.

Is it true electric charging port covers result in fake front vents?
