EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues

Had the navigation lag on a number of occasions. In my perception, all the phenomena in the OP relate to a loss of connectivity. Check perhaps Home/Devices/.../Built-in SIM. Or easier: how is your Spotify icon feeling? A bit grey, not wanting to play?

Connectivity works. I have weather app running, Apple Music, see my car with up to date info in the MyPorsche app etc

My car's about to go to the dealer for the 3rd time for this. I've missed several turns on longer journeys in unfamiliar territory recently - the freezing never used to happen. Fingers crossed this time whatever update is installed "takes" and it's resolved as the navigation freezing is annoying as hell.

Got an update to the maps last week and after this I did not see any issues on my trip in the weekend. So fingers crossed that something has improved.

On a big roundtrip through Europe right now.
Same issues here.
Destination dissapears after
Map update.
Direction-arrows freeze and lead to missing turns.
Discomforting and annoying.

The "freezing" never occurred before, only since about 4 weeks.

I've been getting it a lot more lately, pretty much every drive in my j1.1

J1.2 running 4360 or 4678 doesn't seem to have this issue.

I wonder if they did some maps updated without regression testing for 3882/3885

Ah sucks you have the problems too. No updates from me, my appointment for a fix is in two weeks. I had multiple issues today during a roadtrip. Super annoying.

I did a factory reset, a 12v disconnect and pcm reboot. Nothing helped. I’m currently on 3882, hope 3885 will fix it.

I just got updated to 3885 2 days ago, and it did not fix it, in fact it feels like it made it worse.
It freezes randomly all the time, for a good 3-5 mins, then resumes working for 3-5mins, then freezes again.

Jup that is the exact issue we all have. It is even worse when your destination is further and you need to charge. It feels like the car is out of memory the whole time, like a windows vista pc

I'm also getting the same issue - missed several roundabouts and just hung for several minutes. Its really obvious because I have heads up display and often have a old map on the screen several minutes after I've passed a junction.

Ok, that was just a lucky day. Yesterday it was back to being the most awful car navigation I have ever had in a car.

My maps updated while I was driving over the weekend, this didn't help at all and I ended up switching to Apple Maps without the HUD.

Oh - that is disappointing. Guess I will have to use either Apple maps or Waze which is a pain as I can’t get either to show on Hud. Anyone know the cause or remedy?
