EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues

Yesterday navi refused to work. After I enter destination it kept calculating without result forever. Tried multiple times.
more annoying was that apple carplay was also refusing to work. It Couldn’t recognize my phone (that has been coupled since april) at all either. Also couldn’t couple it again.

I did see however a day earlier that 4 messages appeared, about the updates I mentioned earlier; again now I don’t see them anymore. It was 2 with apple carplay, one about coupling multiple phones and the fourth I forgot. This may be related to the apple car play issue.

Anyone else having these issues on the navi? I guess it’s time to make the call for update too

Just got my car back after WTG1.
I drove 60km and it seems that problem is no longer exist.
There is also some UI upgrades in the map

I've been having the really annoying Apple integration, and handwriting(?!) support, popups for the last couple of weeks.

I haven't tried to use the nav to route me anywhere, but my CarPlay is working ok.

I've had to subscribe to ABRP premium since Porsche can't get me in for WTG1 before my next European trip .

Hope the lucky few who have had the WTG1 update will post their outcomes here - even if it works fine... People don't tend to march with banners that says 'we're happy' ....

My early reports were positive and still all good @smoothound. Navigated west of London to Hackney and back over the weekend (thanks for that TfL) so it coped with routing/charger density there OK.

Only thing preventing me from allowing smartmobilty to close the case is some infotainment OTAs failed. I wonder if these are the pcm app updates people have mentioned, but in any case WTG1 includes reprogramming OTA so want to see some OTA success.

Oh boy...

the logo's and the spinner indicated a full reboot. That is even worse than just a crashing navigation app. But the "good" news is, this is a safety issue, so needs to be fixed quicker than 11 months.

New info regarding WTG1: my service advisor just told me that WTG1 update is for car cars, produced from 20.01.2020 - 29.02.2024.
So, it looks that I’m the only one with nav peoblems on J1.2.

Oof. That’s bad! I think I’m gonna deal with my occasionaly stuttering Navi for now. Nothing about that we can’t handle and at least everything else is running smoothly

I will have my J1.1 MY24 CT4 updated next week Thursday and report back.
