And we’re back! Our apologies for the recent site downtime and thank you for your patience. The site had to be taken offline while we fixed ongoing server issues.

Bad News: during the fix we had to roll back the site to July 23, so you may notice some recent posts missing. We hope you’ll help by reposting any missing threads / posts that you remember posting.

Good News: as part of the fix, we also upgraded the server, so the site should now load faster than ever!

Note: The search index is still being rebuilt, so search results and your content page will be blank/incomplete until rebuild is finished.

If you should experience any unexpected issues, please reach out to us via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks again for your patience and welcome back!

P.S. If anyone has an alert bubble that they can't clear, try this solution:

1) open your full alerts page: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/account/alerts?show_only=all

2) scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on "select all" and "Mark read" then click "Go". This should hopefully clear your alert bubble.

3) if that didn't work, repeat step #2 for all successive alert pages (if you have any) - i.e. pages 2, 3, etc..

This is great news! Site was getting pretty slow so the fact that we are getting a faster indexed site is great :) awesome work

It's all good! VW group still hasn't gained access or Tesla SCs during the down time, so it's not like we missed anything.

I thought the forum started to run Porsche software, with the assorted problems.
I like that technical approach, but I have a philosophical question of sorts.
Just like the old, If a tree falls in the forest but nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound? ...
... if a Taycan has an open recall, can't access Tesla Superchargers, is quoted an outrageously high price at the dealer, has lost a high percentage of its MSRP for resale value, etc., but the best place to complain about it on-line is temporarily unavailable, then is it really a problem?

Thanks for the update and for providing this forum!
Is there any way to eliminate these ads that cover the whole screen? Seems to only happen on the iPad but as you can see from the screenshot it makes using the forum impossible. Any help on this would be appreciated :). The screenshot is of the “What’s New” listing.

I noticed that smilies in topics before the update have turned into question marks.
