I am trying to locate the Jack Stands as it appears minimum height needs to be 6 inches and I cannot find any that are that low.Could you recommend a jack stand that will work. I see many kinds, too many to choose from.
So far:
- I am reading the manual and all good points to go into Jack mode in the PCM first
- I got 2 pins now to guide the wheels
- I got a jack from the Cayenne and it is scissor style and heavy duty, easy to use and slide under, but not compatible to go into the jack point on the Taycan, too wide, so it will be pressing one the extended plastic edges of the Taycan jack points.
- I got a jack from the Macan but it is very strange type and has a screw that will come too close to the body, so not going to touch that one, but will measure it up again to see if it is good enough for support on the same side wheel to go into the jack point.
- I am struggling to find Jack Stands that would fit under, then fit into jack points, as I am measuring 6 inch minimum to slide under, most are 11 inches minimum.
I found this Jack, with minimum height right below 6 inches, so wondering now, if I use it to lift, is it safe to keep the car on on it for 3 days. I will sure use the OEM jack to use for support on the same side at the other wheel, since it will be compatible with the jack point.
Everyone's comments are very helpful, thank you.
