wtf. my turbo (my2022) has a range of about 200. how the hell can you get 280!?!!?
My 2022 Turbo is only 215 at 100%. Im wondering about getting a battery SOH, but not sure how to go about getting one done.

My car’s now completely up to date with all updates and recalls and I’m seeing a huge improvement in both economy and range.

Mine’s a 2022 4S with bigger battery.

Previously I’d have to work hard at driving sedately on a long drive to see 3mi/kwh and my regular commute was nailed on at 2.4mi/kwh. That includes the 2 previous summers, so this isn’t a summer vs winter thing, this is now my 3rd summer with the vehicle.
I’m now seeing 3.0-3.2mi/kWh on that same commute and 3-3.1 on most long journeys without trying.

Range wise today I charged to 100%, dash showed a range of 280miles. I took that with a pinch of salt because I’d never previously seen more than 242 indicated on the dash but having driven 250 miles today I have a remaining range of 31 miles so I’ve already driven more miles on this charge than anything previously indicated.

Has anyone else seen a range improvement since the recent updates?
I saw the same on mine - 280+ range on normal setting after the latest battery software update. Someone said it had just reset the driving history used to calculate range but it seems to be holding. Maybe they were quietly derating the battery before

I’m seeing the same in my 24 GTS ST (280 at 100%). Not sure about any updates though, I haven’t applied any in months, just started seeing it in the past 30 days. I’m sure summer plays a role, but last summer I was seeing max range of 240 or so.

Glad it’s not just me then. The extra 40 miles range is very usable, despite me frequently saying on these forums that 240 is plenty! It meant we went away all weekend just gone and returned home with plenty for the next few days too

I'm also interested in what update you are referring to. I never see over 3 miles/kwh. I have seen a 2.9 back in April but now in the summer in FL I'm getting 2.7 best case. Most of the time I'm well below that due to traffic and AC. I did see a drop when I upgraded to 21" wheels; my best numbers were on the 20" wheels.

I don’t know of a specific one, I was just speculating that I’ve had numerous updates (apparently) this year and now the economy/range is much improved

I had a cell replaced in the main battery earlier in the year.

Tomorrow they are repeating the battery test and also applying the WRS0.

Hoping for a range increase too.

Currently I see 240 miles range at 100% on my 4S

I have to drive quite a few hundred miles later this week, will report back if there are any real changes.

3 is great.
I'm only averaging 3.0 on my j1.2 since buying it in March.

For reference.
The GuessOMeter (DerekS, 2022) @DerekS shows a solid 400km+ on the Taycan CT TS (fully loaded).
Range mode on, A/C off.
However, reality no way I reach that as I simply drive it fast way too often.
But 425 on the GOM is not a bad number.

60k km service done today. Without flaws. Good to go again.

In normal mode my turbo sedan is showing 309 at 100%. Just got it back from the dealer with the supposed J1.2 battery (not sure I believe that I have that battery though).

AC and driving mode affect range also.

Mine stays at 21 most of summer, 22 most of winter; and i get 250miles in summer, driving in sport/custom sport mode 90% of the time.
How much sport mode does affect range vs normal mode, to your opinion?

Looks like I still have the record for an irrationally confident guess-o-meter at 100%.
My spec is the least aero spec you could possibly design, plus I drive it like a teenager would.
