Very strange that there has been no communication I Netherlands?? I have been notified by letter, about the need to have the battery checked (and done that check) plus a requirement for a revisit after 60 days. I also have been advised to only charge to 80% but no mention of any restrictions on location!
Very strange handling by Porsche.

Anyone else get a new letter from Porsche? See attached.
This is despite the fact the software got installed and verified as so by Porsche (they checked when my wheels were swapped).

Still no mention of online monitoring requiring a “Porsche Connect Services” subscription I see ?‍♂

@kempez - do you know what software was installed?
Do you also have a ARB6 or ARB7 recall letter? If so, what if any, are the charging constraints?

Per letter to owners dated April 1, 2025, battery diagnostic software for Audi e-trons with equivalent recalls will be available 3rd quarter 2025.

I got the same letter today.

Any software you had installed is NOT the "optimised battery diagnostic software" mentioned in this letter.

Interesting.. they talk about 2nd half of 2025. For me that does not mean Q2 like we thought in other threads but somewhere in Q3 or Q4.

I doubt this software will be on actual customer cars before 2026. Just the workload put on service centers to re-code 150k+ cars will take more than 6 months...
If it becomes avaliable Q2, service centers will start making appointments for Q3 earliest, and the slots will fill in minutes; then appointments will be months and months away...

The "perks" of not having proper OTA ;)

Did they already tell it will not be available OTA? If I read the letters no details about how they install the SW is shared.

WRS0 letter arrived today despite the car having all recalls dealt with and being told “absolutely nothing to worry about…until the next recall”. I assume the letter has been triggered because I received the original letter promising Q1 for the software

In switzerland the communication was always that the install will be done at the dealers.

In a letter? Maybe I missed it. My assumption is that it will be OTA to minimize the costs. They pulled an OTA a month ago, so could be possible. I did not hear any other sounds (apart from yours / Switzerland)

In the recall.

From WRS1 dealer campaign:
As soon as the software is available, the final action (Q1/2025) must be carried out in accordance
with the ARB6 recall campaign
ARB6 recall campaign:
Porsche Taycan ARB6 Recall notice UK.... 1744668780655-dw

Dealers will install

Hi Folks,
I've actually had the 'pilot' diagnostic software installed a few weeks ago whilst the car was in for a fault with it's suspension as well. I was contacted directly by Porsche GB as one of a batch of around 146 owners to get the trial which apparently is on behalf of Porsche AG. I believe they are looking to fine tune the parameters at which alerts are raised by the new software before rolling it out en-masse. So far it's done nothing which I can only take to be a positive! As I understand if there is a battery issue detected, the vehicle can reduce it's power output and battery usage to allow continued driving rather than having the red circle of death and needing recovery? Totally invisible as far as I can see, but not sure if this brings additional peace of mind or not!
