I collected my car from the dealer on Thursday, after recalls for brake hoses, reprogramming of PSM for brakes, battery tests ARB6, 7 etc. All done but not in the timeframe the thought, it took 2 extra days?
I must say the brakes feel much better now, firmer and more consistent. I know the initial push on the brake pedal does not engage the physical brakes, rather regen. But I think the blending of my brakes have improved quite a lot.
My battery cells seem also to have been equalised as it looks much more even across all the cells now. Slight variation for the 2 modules I got replaced, but nothing dramatic.
One peculiar observation though was the statement in the recall letter. Porsche went to a long explanation on how to avoid charging to more than 80%, either via AC or DC. Since the Taycan can not be set to only charge to 80% on DC, there was quite a lecture about how to ensure this.
So to my surprise my car was hooked up at the dealer to their DC HPC and charged to 100% at collection? ???
